The episode begins with day 21 at 11 am when Surbhi Rana is telling Romil Chaudhary that she feels Salman Khan supports Dipika Kakar and that she doesn’t like her. Romil says may be she’s coming across as the right person. Surbhi lists the reasons why she doesn’t like Dipika at all and says that Srishty is not with the team of Singles.

Deepak Thakur can be seen talking with Urvashi Vani and tells her that she doesn’t clarify things with him or with anyone else in the house. He also asks her why she goes on to speak with somebody who’s fought with him and and is not speaking to him. Urvashi says that she’s at fault and walks out. Surbhi comes to Deepak and tries to explain things to him. Deepak has a problem that Urvashi is on good terms with those who fought with him – Shivashish and Sourabh

Urvashi cries in the laundry room, Romil consoles her. Jasleen Matharu says she’s unpacked and sits down to eat with Shivashish Mishra at the dinner table. Anup Jalota is watching her from the outhouse and wonders if she’s also stressed about him. He says Jasleen’s got two good people to keep her mind engaged, one is friend Shiv and the other is brother Sourabh.

Late in the evening, Deepak, Romil and Surbhi are sitting in the garden area, discussing the captaincy task. Romil asks Deepak why he didn’t reveal that Shiv has changed hands while holding the captaincy ring during the task. They say that it’s betrayal. Deepak accepts his mistake and later apologises to her, saying that he got swayed in the talks of Sourabh Patel.

Day 22 in the Bigg Boss 12 house begins with the housemates waking up to the tunes of Ek Rasta Ek Raahi, Ek Chor Ek Sipaahi, hinting at the luxury budget task of Jail Break that awaits them later in the day.

At 11:45 am, Jasleen and Romil are talking and Romil congratulates her on being one of the Single’s now – pun intended at her relationship status in the house. Romil also says that now anyone can try to take a chance on her.

Later on, Bigg Boss announces that it’s time for this week’s nominations process. Bigg Boss also says that the process got completed the day they were to pick the contenders to go to the jail. Since Sreesanth, Nehha Pendse and Karanvir Bohra were sent to jail and nominated for this week’s evictions that day, the nomination process got completed then only and that there’s no need to have the process again. So, the three of them are nominated for evictions this week.

In the afternoon, Sreesanth, Jasleen, Deepak are playing cricket with a make-do cricket ball and using a stick as a bat. Bigg Boss calls Romil in the confession room and scolds him for not paying attention to the rules of the house. Bigg Boss asks Romil to keep the stick and ball in the store room, so that no property is damaged. Sreesanth says that he had made the ball with a lot of emotions (with some tissue paper and one of the small balls that were used in the volcano task) and he discards it before giving it to Romil. Sreesanth is mighty upset and says that BCCI also banned him from playing and now Bigg Boss also took it away.

Sreesanth says that Romil and Deepak were actually playing and he just went and joined them. He did not start playing with it first. Sree says that Romil and Deepak are responsible for his tissue ball being taken away. Sree tells Bigg Boss that he wants to go home and leave. He’s mighty upset and asks Romil why he took it from his cupboard.

Sree goes into the bathroom and breaks down in tears. Srishty asks him to come out and get angry at them. Sree says he doesn’t want to face the camera at that point of time and doesn’t want to show his emotions to the world now. Surbhi tells Sreesanth later that he must play a bit maturely and he can go very far.

Dipika Kakar reads out the instructions of the luxury budget task. The housemates are divided into two groups - Prisoners and Policemen. Sreesanth, Nehha Pendse, Jasleen Matharu, Deepak Thakur, Surbhi Rana, Sourabh Patel and Somi Khan are the prisoners and Karanvir Bohra, Dipika Kakar, Srishty Rode, Saba Khan, Shivashish Mishra, Romil Chaudhary and Urvashi Vani are the police officers.With every alarm, the jail’s door would open and two policemen will guard the door. The prisoners need to jump a wall and try to flee while the policemen will try to stop them. The last one to jump the wall at the end of every round, will be eliminated from the competition. 

While Karanvir  and Dipika discuss that they have to first target Surbhi so that he’s out of the task and the race for captaincy. Sreesanth on the other hand has plans to go out of the race first and become the sanchalak.

KV tells Shivashish that Deepak is the easiest target to hold back. He says that Surbhi and Deepak should be out first, and then whoever goes on from there, it doesn’t matter. Everyone else too starts discussing their strategies and who should be on target to be kept out.

The first alarm goes and Deepak is the last one to cross the wall and hence he’s out of the game. Deepak gets slightly hurt. He now becomes the sanchalak.

The jailers Romil, Dipika, Karanvir have an argument on who will man the prisoners and the prison gate while Srishty, Shivashish and Saba look on. Romil and Dipika have a verbal argument on the rotation of the jailers to man the prisoners. KV and Dipika don’t want Romil to guard the prisoners in the next round, since they don’t want Surbhi to make it to the next round. Romil on the other hand, wants safeguard his partner Surbhi.

Finally Romil and KV are the ones to man the gates. Deepak is upset that he’s out from the race of contender for captaincy. The next alarm goes and KV tries his best to stop Surbhi from crossing the wall. Surbi eventually jumped across the wall and starts making an issue that KV got physical in the task. Romil on the other hand holds Sourabh and pins him down to the ground. Sourabh is the next one to go out from the task. Saba Khan says that KV wasn’t unfair with Surbhi.  Surbhi starts shouting at KV and creating a scene.

At 8 pm, all the remaining housemates are seen discussing the strategy on how to go about the game now.  Nehha tells Sree that he should also respect women when he’s angry and not just when he is happy. She’s upset with him over what the caller of the week had said about him, that he knows something about Nehha which, if he discloses, she will cry. Nehha seems to be upset on this

 The next alarm goes and Surbhi is not able to come out of the prison so she is out of the game. She’s not happy at all. Sree, Nehha, Somi and Jasleen are the ones who are still in the game and in the run for the captaincy. Srishty has a word with Nehha and says that she will be the next one to go, since Romil wont target his own team members.

The alarm goes again. Sree and Jasleen cross the wall while, Somi and Nehha get caught by Saba and Srishty. Eventually Somi breaks free and Nehha is the one who couldn’t cross the wall so she’s out of the game. Nehha discusses how Srishty has played the game and favoured the Khan sisters.

The alarm goes again and this time it’s Jasleen who’s prevented from crossing the wall. Finally, Sreesanth and Somi are in the running for captaincy. Saba and Somi are now trying to convince Sreesanth to give up the captaincy for the Khan sisters.  KV and Romil are the ones to guard the gate and the prisoners. Saba goes to Deepak and says that he can disqualify the other contestant if he sees inappropriate gestures.

The episode comes to an end.
