BHOPAL: After touring the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, BJP national president
Amit Shah will lead the party’s charge against the Congress in the
bastion of Jyotiraditya Scindia in Gwalior-Guna on Tuesday, when he will address workers’ meet in Gwalior and hold roadshows in Guna. Shah’s Chambal tour is also important to ascertain public stand on the SC/ST Act and BJP’s role in convincing upper caste voters.
Shah will hold road shows in Scindia’s bastion Guna and communicate with the public on local issues related to Congress in order to ensure that BJP wins the Lok Sabha seat in 2019. His workers’ convention is also aimed at planning a clear publicity campaign for parliamentary elections to bring PM
Narendra Modi back to the power at the Centre.
“Amid the so-called anti-BJP campaigns, during his public meetings, Shah has tried to highlight local issues and clarify with voters the party’s stand on various issues. While communicating with the voters, he is also seeking their feedback for selection of candidates,” said a senior BJP functionary.
In his first campaign tour to
Indore and Ujjain, Shah clearly instructed party workers to raise three important issues, which could help the state and the central governments achieve their goal. These issues include the party’s stand on infiltrators and Rohingya.
