RAJKOT:
Tired of a prolonged illness, a
couple hurled themselves before a speeding train at
Morbi Road railway crossing in Rajkot on Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Gunvant Budhdev (70) and his wife Jyoti (60).
“The couple had left home telling their son Paras that they were going to
Sanosara to visit a temple and later committed suicide. They left a suicide note in which they stated that they had decided to end their lives as they were tired of the prolonged illness,” said an official from the Rajkot B-Division police station.
Gunvant Budhdev was a tax consultant with an office at Moti Tanki Chowk locality of Rajkot.
