MUMBAI: Two women from Delhi who were new to Mumbai were allegedly threatened and yelled at by the driver of an air-conditioned cab who was ferrying them from the airport to Bandra. The women's friend took to Twitter to narrate what had happened and tagged the Mumbai police. The reason the cabbie lost his cool was that the women had him take a wrong turn while en route to their destination.
"Right from the start of the trip, he was yelling. We tried to stop him from screaming but it wouldn't work. When we took a wrong turn, he lost his cool. He said something like 'cheer faad ke rakh dunga (I'll rip you apart).' He was angry as he had somewhere to be and said that we should know better. We told him we were new to the city and could only take directions from Google Maps," the woman said. The police's Twitter handle suggested they lodge a complaint at the nearest police station.
