thrashed 7-1 to register their second consecutive win at the eighth Sultan of Johor Cup here on Sunday.

While the third quarter saw both teams drop the pace a bit, extended their lead in the 43rd minute through Lakra.

It was Abhishek's 50th minute goal that put India 6-0 ahead, even as New Zealand's scored a consolation goal three minute later.

Mandeep also registered his name in the score sheet as he converted a smart variation from a penalty corner to hand India the massive win.

India will next take on in their third match on October 9.
