Med store owner robbed of Rs 5K

Rajkot: A medical store owner was robbed of Rs 5,500 cash by two robbers in Maheshwari Society on Kotharia Road in Rajkot on Saturday night.
Police said the victim, identified as Alpesh Pandya (41), a resident of Saibaba Park on Nana Mawa Road, was waylaid by Nasir Theba and his aide who robbed him of the cash at knife point. Police said Theba is a history-sheeter having been involved in several cases of bootlegging, physical assault and issuing threats.

Police have launched a manhunt for the accused. tnn
