BHUBANESWAR: Chandrasekharpur police here on Friday found bodies of a boy and girl, hanging from ceiling of an under-construction apartment in
Lumbini Vihar area here. Prima facie, police said the duo committed suicide. The deceased were identified as
Umesh Mahali, 19 and Jyotsna Mahali, 18, both belonging to
Mayurbhanj district.
"Our probe found that their family members were opposed to their relationship. The fled their houses on Thursday evening," a police officer said. He said some workers of the apartment saw them hanging and informed the cops.
