Interested In A White Ford Focus RS Mk2 With Under 10k Miles?

Thanks in large part to its ultra sharp handling and sonorous five-cylinder turbo engine, the Ford Focus RS Mk2, has achieved near cult status among hot hatch enthusiasts.

It’s not unusual to see examples fetching in excess of €30,000 (equal to $34,620) in the used car market. As for the one advertised by SilverstoneAuctions, it’s estimated to bring in between £30,000 and £35,000 (equal to $38,953-$45,445 and €33,751-€39,376).

The white RS will go up for sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show Sale, which takes place on November 10, in Birmingham UK. Some of the details that should interest potential bidders are the mileage – 9,004 mi (14,491 km) from new, two owners since 2009 when it left the factory floor, and the fact that it’s right-hand drive.

The auction house says that this Ford Focus RS is completely stock, and comes with a full service history. Moreover, the factory protection film is still found on the sills, despite being originally introduced to the road some 9 years ago.

Just like all Ford Focus RS of the second generation, it’s powered by a Volvo-sourced turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five engine pumping out 305 PS (301 hp / 224 kW) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque, channeled to the front wheels through a six-speed manual box. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.9 seconds and up to a top speed 263 km/h (163 mph).
