"Shai Hope is in at no.3. Also, Kuldeep Yadav is to bowl his first over.
11.28 IST: OUT! That's the first one and Ashwin gets his man. Brathwaite looked to take him on in the previous ball and got lucky. This time Ashwin bowls it slower through the air and gets his reward. Tosses this one on middle and leg. Brathwaite looks to turn his bat to the on side but it goes to Shaw at short leg who takes a sharp catch. WI 32/1 in 8 Overs
11.23 IST: FOUR! Nice from Powell. Already has 2 boundaries and now gets his third. Bowls this on a back of a length ball on the leg side. Powell hops and tucks it away behind square leg to the fence. WI 28/0 in 6.4 Overs
11.20 IST: Maiden Over! Ashwin bowls a tight maiden over to Windies skipper Brathwaite. WI 22/0 in 6 Overs
11.17 IST: Four! BRILLIANT! Overpitched, wide outside off and Powell does not miss. Reaches out and drives it with elegance through the covers for a boundary. WI 22/0 in 5 Overs
11.09 IST: FOUR! Full and on the pads, Brathwaite flicks it through mid-wicket for a boundary! WI 17/0 in 2.4 Overs
11.05 IST: SIX! Much better from Powell. Uses his feet early, is decisive, gets to the pitch of the ball and lofts it massively over long on. Excellent connection.. WI 13/0 in 1.5 Overs
10.59 IST: NO BALL! A gift for Brathwaite first up. Shami oversteps by a massive margin and bowls a gentle half volley on middle. Brathwaite clips it through mid-wicket and gets a couple. WI 3/0 in 0 Overs.
* The innings has been done and dusted in 48 overs. Apart from the Chase-Paul stand this morning, India have simply not had to break any sweat. The most bowlers bowled were 11 by Umesh and Ashwin each.

10.46 IST: OUT! And that's a wrap for the Windies' first innings. Easily stumped. The carrom ball becomes the undoing of Gabriel after playing out almost the whole over watchfully. The ball is tossed up outside off and Shannon is drawn forward to defend. He misses the line comprehensively and almost as a reflex action, his feet come out of the crease. He tries to get his left foot back but by that time Pant has whipped off the bails. It always looked out to the naked eye but Ian Gould at square leg did not want to take any chances. INDIA LEAD BY 468 AND HAVE ENFORCED THE FOLLOW-ON.
10.42 IST: FOUR! Nice shot. Full and down the leg side, Bishoo looks to sweep but gets a top edge which lobs over square leg. Just about manages to reach the ropes.
10.40 IST: FOUR! Full and outside off, Bishoo gets down and mows it through mid-wicket for a boundary. Moves to 12 with his second boundary. WI 174/9 in 45.4 overs
10.36 IST: FOUR! Sweep shot played by Bishoo on Jadeja's delivery. You will not die wondering. Full and outside off, Gabriel swings wildly, is nowhere near the pitch of the ball and misses. The ball misses the stumps and beats the keeper to the fine leg fence. Everyone is smiling after that shot. Reminds us of the days when Muttiah Muralidaran used to bat. WI 168/9 in 44.2 overs
10.35 IST: FOUR BYES! WI 163/9 in 44 overs
* Shannon Gabriel walks in at number 11. He is slowly trudging out, with a smile...
10.33 IST: OUT! Ashwin removes Lewis for 0. That is a beauty and Ashwin has his third. After bowling two offies, setting the tail-ender up, he bowls a carrom ball. Too good for Lewis. He looks to defend but is squared up and the ball hits the off stump. WI 159/8 in 43.5 overs
10.29 IST: OUT! Ashwin removes Chase for 53. DRAGGED ON! beautiful bowling. Full and outside off, a touch wide, enticing the batsman to drive. Chase obliges, reaches out but then the ball spins in, takes the inside edge and hits the stumps. A watchful knock comes to an end. West Indies 159/8 in 43.2 overs
10.25 IST: EDGED, BUT DROPPED! A touch short outside off, Chase goes back to cut. Gets an outside edge but Rishabh Pant behind is unable to adjust to the bounce. Gets hit on the glove and the ball lobs in the air, but wide of Rahane at first slip. Pant rushes across to his right, puts in a dive but in vain.
10.21 IST: Ashwin is brought in place of Kuldeep. Not surprising. Kuldeep has been expensive this morning, going for 43 in his 6.
10.16 IST: FIFTY! Roston Chase scores his 6th half-century. A calm knock under pressure by Roston. His team is in dire straits but he has not been absorbed by it. Full and outside off, Chase leans and drives it down the ground. Long on is in place but he has no chance. WI 157/7 in 39.5 overs
10.13 IST: FOUR! Kuldeep is back and is not learning from his mistakes. Full and outside off, Chase reaches out and drives it through the covers for a boundary! Moves to within a hit of a half century. Will he get there? WI 151/7 in 39.1 overs
10.10 IST: OUT! Umesh removes Paul for 47. The dangerous Paul is dismissed, just 3 short of his maiden Test fifty. End of a wonderful knock. The bowler is also sensing it as for the first time in 7 wickets, we have seen someone celebrating or roaring. Clearly India were getting frustrated and are pumped up now. A short ball outside off, Paul instantly looks to pull. But the pace of Umesh does him in. He is not able to time his shot properly and the ball gently lobs towards mid-wicket. Cheteshwar Pujara comes running a few paces and takes a good catch. West Indies 147/7 in 38.3 overs
10.08 IST: FOUR! Another one off the outside edge. Full and outside off, Paul comes forward and looks to defend, but with soft hands. The ball takes the edge but the ball goes onto the ground and escapes the man at gully. All the way to the third man fence. The stand is worth 73 now, from 80 balls. WI 147/6 in 38.3 overs
10.05 IST: SIX! Boom and Paul is having a good day. Paul is putting on a show here. The leg spinner again, pitched up, outside off, Paul gets down and launches into it. Slog sweeps it over mid-wicket and the ball sails over the ropes. Moves to 43 from 45 deliveries in a stand of 68. Wow. WI 142/6 in 37.5 overs
10.03 IST: Maiden over by Umesh. Good length and keeps Paul on stand.
10.00 IST: What a ball. On a length just outside off, Paul looks to defend but then the ball moves away, just past the outside edge.
* Umesh is brought into the attack
09.58 IST: FOUR! Massive! Kuldeep is being taken to the cleaners here. Full and around middle, Chase comes forward and lofts it as clean as a whistle over mid-wicket for a boundary! Kuldeep has gone for 30 in his 4 overs this morning.
09.56 IST: FOUR! First shot in anger from Chase this morning. Full and outside off, Roston gets down and sweeps it behind square on the leg side for a boundary! WI 131/6 in 35.4 overs
09.53 IST: FOUR! A bit streaky but it is a boundary to raise the 50-run stand in just 55 balls. On a length outside off, Paul gets squared up a touch as he looks to defend. After facing two incoming deliveries, this one moved away and hence the squaring up. But the outside edge dies down and runs wide of gully to the third man fence. WI 127/6 in 34.3 overs
09.51 IST: Looks to swing this to the leg side but gets beaten by the spin. The ball goes off the inner half of the bat towards deep mid-wicket. A single taken and this partnership is worth 49 now.
09.49 IST: FOUR! Paul seems to be getting the hang of it. A full delivery by Kuldeep and he get's hammered. Plenty of width outside off, pretty full, Paul uses his range, gets to the pitch of the ball with a lunge and drives it powerfully past a diving cover for a boundary! WI 122/6 in 33.1 overs
09.47 IST: FOUR BYES! Lucky once again. Paul playing on thin ice here. Shami struggles to control the swing on this occasion. Bowls it way down the leg side and even though Paul cannot connect his attempted flick, it is too wide for the diving Pant as the ball races to his left to the fine leg fence. WI 117/6 in 32.5 overs
09.46 IST: FOUR! Interesting tactic from Paul. He has noticed that the ball is reversing and is trying to counter it by walking down the pitch. He does so here, but Shami bowls it wide outside off. Pretty full, the drive is attempted again and this time the outside edge is induced. But it goes wide of gully to the third man fence. WI 113/6 in 32.4 overs
09.45 IST: DIRECT HIT WOULD HAVE HAD PAUL! Kuldeep has his hands on his head. That would have been the second run out of the innings. Full and outside off, Chase pushes it to the off side and then calls his partner through. Paul responds but is a bit late to take off. Kuldeep Yadav gets across to his left from cover, collects the ball, takes aim and then has a shy at the striker's end with Keemo not even halfway down the pitch. Misses.
09.42 IST: NEARLY A CHANCE! That would have been a weird dismissal. Short and outside off, Paul goes back and looks to cut. But the ball spins back in sharply and cramps him for room. He is hit on the right glove and the ball lobs in the air. Prithvi Shaw dives to his left at short leg but cannot get there.
09.39 IST: Full and wide outside off, Chase reaches out and drives it wide of mid off for a couple.
09.34 IST: FOUR! Another sweep shot played. 10 runs off the 1st over of the day. Full and around off, Paul gets down and clobbers the sweep past Prithvi Shaw at short leg. There is a man at long leg but before he can run 5 paces, the ball is past him to the square leg boundary! WI 104/6 in 30 overs
09.33 IST: LUCKY! Keemo looks to go through the off side again, aiming to force it off his back foot but the ball spins in, sticks off the pitch, takes the inside edge and misses the stumps and goes to Virat Kohli at leg slip!
09.32 IST: FOUR! Paul begins the day with a boundary.Fuller and around off, Paul gets down and sweeps it through mid-wicket for a boundary! WI 98/6 in 29.2 overs
09.29 IST: Nice to see Kohli smiling. He is with his teammates in a huddle and seems to be giving some instructions. Now, the players disperse. Out walk Roston Chase and Keemo Paul. Kuldeep Yadav will begin proceedings for the day. Paul to face. Here we go!
09.23 IST: Top of the morning to you all and the weekend kicks off with plenty firecrackers on it's way. India will hopefully put this match to rest by today. Windies have four wickets left and are stuttering at 94/6.
09.00 IST: The opening batsmen were clueless against the guile of Shami while the middle order was consumed by spin. Then of course, some generosity was produced as well in a run-out and a wild shot. Overall, nothing much to describe in the tourists' batting, except for Roston Chase, who has shown the gumption to survive.
08.40 IST: Jadeja was on fire yesterday! He's already taken a wicket and is expected to add a few more. Here's what he had to say at the post-match PC.
