A nine-feet-long python was rescued by a six-member team of forest department in Kaluwala of thano range area of Dehradun district in Uttarakhand. The team members rescued the reptile from top of the tree. The locals informed the department about the reptile after witnessing the snake on tree in the past few days. Later, the members released the python in Asarori range of the district. Of late, a 10-feet-long Burmese python was rescued by the forest officials from a tree in Dehradun.
