As per reports, Qadri was recently seen seating near Saeed during All Parties Conference organised by the Difa-e-Council in Islamabad. The Difa-e-Pakistan Council is a coalition of more than 40 Pakistani political and religious parties that advocate conservative policies.

In September, while addressing a gathering at General Assembly (UNGA) session in New York, India's in Permanent Mission of to UN, Eenam Gambhir questioned the freedom experienced by Saeed in Pakistan as he continued to set up candidates for electoral office.
