AMBALA: The two class eight boys, Arman and Jitendra of Army Public School in Ambala Cantonment, who went missing on September 28, returned home safely after taking a trip to
Film City, Mumbai. On Thursday, the boys came back to Ambala via Dadar Express and Jitendra got off the train in Ambala, while Arman was later found in Amritsar.
Jitendra is son of an army personnel. He said that they had gone to see the Film City in Mumbai and returned via Dadar Express, while his friend Arman did not get off the train in Ambala. Arman went towards Punjab and during joint search operation of the Government Railway Police (GRP) and district police, he was later found in Amritsar.
Arman is a resident of village Munerheri in Ambala. He had some jewellery along with him that he had taken from his house.
On September 28, both Arman and Jitendra had gone to their school and after school they went off to Mumbai.
The boys first took a train towards Amritsar on September 28, and after visiting some places in Amritsar, they boarded a train towards Mumbai.
Investigation officer inspector Vijay said, “After recording the statements of the boys, they have been handed over safely to their parents and the case has been closed here.”
