The officials also found out that hospital is utilizing the land for parking and other purposes which is against the building by-laws. Moreover, there is one laboratory opened by the hospital authorities for which they had not taken any permission, which is again illegal. The building branch officials while issuing notice have warned the officials for curbing illegal use of this land lest face the music.
While confirming the move, the assistant town planner of zone D, Vijay Kumar, said they had issued the first notice to the hospital on September 25 after receiving complaint from RTI activist Rohit Sabharwal. He said they had given three days to the hospital for stopping all activities and submitting their reply with them in the given time. When the hospital authorities did not respond to the notice they conducted a survey in the premises. Kumar added that now a final notice has been issued to the hospital authorities after which there will be legal action against them.
