The believed ‘differences’ between Ministers T. Harish Rao and K.T. Rama Rao looked ironed out, or at least both the leaders tried to quell such ‘rumours’ praising each other.
The Ministers portrayed a picture of brotherhood at a meeting of party workers from Sircilla constituency saying they grew up together as brothers and all the differences being portrayed are just false.
“There is only healthy competition between us in developing our respective constituencies,” Mr. Rama Rao said while praising Mr. Harish Rao. In fact, Mr. Harish Rao went a step ahead saying Mr. Rama Rao developed his Sircilla constituency in just four years leaving behind decades of development in Siddipet earlier represented by caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and later by himself. Unlike earlier, we don’t hear weaver suicides in Sircilla, he said.
The leaders also sent a positive message revealing that they were just following the orders of the Chief Minister. Mr. Rama Rao thanked Mr. Harish Rao for showing him in good light and praised him for the wonderful work he had done regarding the Kaleshwaram project.
By clearly mentioning that Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao would be the Chief Minister for another 15 years, both the leaders tried to defuse the misunderstanding in the political circles that they were vying with each other to succeed him.
