CHANDIGARH: Haryana chief minister
Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday inaugurated the
web portal of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-Rera) of
Panchkula and Gurugram in Chandigarh.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said efforts are being made to ensure that the real estate sector shifts from unplanned to planned. He said the state government set up H-Rera exclusively to deal with cases of Gurgaon, and another authority in Panchkula to deal with real estate issues of Haryana.
Khattar said now after the launch of online portal of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authorities of Gurgaon and Panchkula, the stakeholders can not only make complaints while sitting at their homes but also check the status of their complaints. He said general complaints would be resolved by H-Rera within a time period of 60 days. The state government has decided to constitute an appellate tribunal with its head office in Karnal to hear the complaints of stakeholders against the decision of H-Rera, he added.
H-Rera’s Gurgaon bench chairman K K Khandelwal said termed it as a historic decision to redress the complaints regarding both registered and non-registered projects. He said it has given a ray of hope to those allotees who were feeling dejected earlier by the developers. On an average, the authorities receive 15 complaints per day, he said.
Head of the Panchkula bench, Rajan Gupta informed that after starting H-Rera in February 2018, they had received 1,500 complaints, out of which 450 had been disposed of.
