A woman was killed allegedly by her husband in Jharkhand's Pakur district, police said Thursday.
The accused identified as Hussain Ansari, a resident of Upper bandha village was absconding, they said.
Ansari had married Jainaib Bibi five years ago and have two children, sources said adding that the couple used to quarrel frequently after Ansari married another woman a year ago.
Ansari had come to meet Bibi at her native village and they had gone out together.
Thursday morning, the villagers spotted the body of Junaib Bibi with throat slit and informed police.
The villagers accused Ansari of killing Junaib Bibi, sources said.
