CHENNAI: Southern Railway has announced seven special trains in view of
Diwali. Advance reservations for the special trains will open at 8am on October 5.
Suvidha Special train from Tirunelveli to Tambaram
Train No 82622 Tirunelveli – Tambaram Suvidha special train will leave Tirunelveli at 6.15pm on November 8.
The train will have one AC 2-tier, three AC 3-tier, nine sleeper class, six general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
It will stop at Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Trichy, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram and Chengalpet.
Special fare special train from Tambaram to Tirunelveli
Train No 06013 Tambaram – Tirunelveli Suvidha special train will leave Tambaram at 3pm on November 9.
It will have one AC 2-tier, three AC 3-tier, nine sleeper class, six general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The train will stop at Chengalpet, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur and Kovilpatti.
Suvidha Special train from Chennai Central to Coimbatore
Train No 82619 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Suvidha special train will leave Chennai Central at 8:40pm on November 3.
The train will have two AC 3-tier, 14 sleeper class, and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
It will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpet, Salem, Erode and Tirupur.
Suvidha Special train from Coimbatore – Chennai Central
No 82620 Coimbatore – Chennai Central Suvidha special train will leave Coimbatore at 7pm on November 6.
The train will have two AC 3-tier, 14 sleeper class, and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
It will stop at Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpet, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
Special fare special train from Chennai Central – Coimbatore
No 06017 Chennai Central – Coimbatore special fare special train will leave Chennai Central at 8:40pm on November 5.
The train will have two AC 3-tier, 14 sleeper class, and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
It will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpet, Salem, Erode and Tirupur
Special fare Special train from Coimbatore – Chennai Central
Train No 06018 Coimbatore - Chennai Central Special fare special train will leave Coimbatore at 7pm on November 6.
The train will have two AC 3-tier, 14 sleeper class, and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
It will stop in Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpet, Katpadi, Arakkonam, and Perambur
Ernakulam - Yesvantpur weekly special fare special train
Train No 06548 Ernakulam - Yesvantpur weekly tatkal special will leave Ernakulam at 3pm.
The first service of the train from Ernakulam will commence on October 17 and the last service will be on November 14. (Total: 05 Trips on October 17, 24, 31, November 7, 14).
It will stop at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Tirupattur, Salem, Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrissur, Aluva and Ernakulam Town in both directions.
The train will have on 2-tier AC, three 3-tier AC, nine second class sleeper ans two second class sitting cum luggage van coaches.
