I hope you're ready for even more Star Wars adventures because details are starting to trickle in about the latest addition to the continually expanding universe -- including the official title of the new series! Jon Favreau, who is set to write and executive-produce the live-action series, revealed on Instagram Wednesday that it will be titled The Mandalorian. But that's not all, he also revealed a short synopsis!

"After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic..." Favreau wrote.

The question on everyone's mind now is: Who is this lone gunfighter and how does his or her story relate to Jango and Boba Fett, if at all? So far, there have been no casting announcements for this new series. It's expected to premiere on Disney's upcoming streaming service, which will launch in 2019, though no premiere date has been announced yet.
