There were plenty of Mustangs crossing the block in Vegas, both old and new. This one stands out to us for several reasons, not the least of which is it’s connection to NASCAR legend Richard Petty. The black/blue finish is also eye-catching, and a 675-horsepower (503-kilowatt) engine upgrade doesn’t hurt, either. It wasn’t the most expensive Mustang at the event, but at $85,800, it wasn’t the cheapest either.

Price: $11,000

A vintage Z600 is already pretty cool, but this insane 4x4 build is probably the only time you’ll see this pint-sized hatchback living so large. The off-road frame is a custom build, and there’s a Suzuki 1.3-liter engine underhood with a five-speed manual. Perhaps the best part? This crazy Honda off-road monster sold for only $11,000, which seems like a steal as far as we're concerned.

Price: $192,500

Smokey and the Bandit will always be cool, and this 1978 Trans Am was built by the Bandit himself, the late Burt Reynolds. There’s no way it couldn’t be on our list, and it’s movie accurate right down to the CB radio and antenna on the roof. Second-generation Trans Ams are going up in value, but with this being straight from Reynolds’ collection, it sold for a whopping $192,500.

Price: $49,500

Some people prefer the iconic lines of a classic 911 with its oval headlights, but sweet mother of horsepower this 930 Turbo Cabriolet looks devastatingly good. The auction description says it was built from a narrow-body non-turbo model, but it’s most decidedly pressurized now. Underneath that whale tail is a Euro-spec 3.3-liter flat six with an aftermarket turbo. It’s not the only Porsche to make our list, but with a sale price of $49,500 it’s the one we might actually be able to buy someday.

This is another vehicle from Burt Reynolds, and one that we’re rather fond of. Smokey and the Bandit gets the glory, but The Cannonball Run is one of the coolest driving flics of all time. This is a screen-accurate re-creation of the big Chevy crew cab dually that crashed through a hotel, blasted up a hill, and launched over a train during the movie.

Legendary auto journalist and Cannonball-Baker creator Brock Yates said the truck – and some of the antics portrayed in the film – were based on real-life Cannonball racers. Considering the Reynolds connection, this sweet replica went to a new home for a rather reasonable $49,500.

It wouldn’t be a Barrett-Jackson event without some high-dollar action, and this gorgeous Porsche 918 Spyder delivered in a big way with a sale price of $1.76 million. It’s showroom fresh with just 309 miles, and well, just look at it. Yes, the classic 911 SC we featured earlier is dead sexy and possibly even cooler than this car, but the 918 is truly an elite hypercar that will always command attention.

We all know the 720S is amazing. It seems like every other day we come upon a video of it in a drag race, and it always wins. That alone has all kinds of cool factor, but the sinister black suit this car is wearing makes the performance punch so much sweeter. If we could choose just one car on this list, our heads would explode because such a choice seems pretty much impossible. It would definitely be in our top three, but the price of cruising town in Darth Vader’s hypercar isn’t cheap. This black McLaren sold for $352,000.

Price: $137,500

The Michael Keaton-era Batmobile endures as a very popular choice for Batman fanatics to recreate. This isn’t the first one we’ve seen, but it certainly ranks among the best looking. It’s hard to believe the bones of the car originated with a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic, but the beefy frame is certainly a good place to start on such a build. It’s got a 5.7-liter Corvette V8 with an automatic transmission, a remote-operated canopy, a cockpit that would be at home in a B-52 bomber, and freaking machine guns sticking out of the fenders. It sold for a hefty $137,500, but as far as cool cars are concerned, it’s hard to beat the Batmobile.
