Rajkot: Unable to tolerate a neighbourhood youth’s love affair with his cousin sister, a man stabbed the youth to death on Ravapar Road in Morbi on Wednesday night. The accused was arrested on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Prem Od (18), stabbed Rahul Bhojak (20), while he was walking towards a roadside eatery.
“Od and Bhojak were at loggerheads, following Bhojak’s affair with Od’s cousin sister. They frequently fought over the issue in the past.
Ever since Bhojak was arrested for attacking his girlfriend’s fiancé, the seeds of enmity were sown between Od and Bhojak,” said an official from Morbi A-Division police station.
Meanwhile, police are searching for Od’s birth certificate to determine whether he is minor.
