Six cases of swine flu from city, dist

Surat: Four fresh cases of swine flu surfaced in the city on Thursday. Two more swine flu cases were reported from Surat district too during the day.
The total number of swine flu cases in Surat city in the monsoon season has now gone up to 66 with deadly virus also claiming two lives. The number of swine flu cases in Surat district during the period has gone up to 15, including three deaths due to the virus.

The two cases detected from Surat rural were that of a 47-year-old man from Suvali in Choryasi taluka and a 48-year-old man from Valan in Kamrej taluka. Swine flu patients in Surat city included a 22-year-old man from Parvat Patiya; a 49-year-old woman from Rander Road, a 50-year-old man from Adajan, and a 33-year old man from Rander. At present, 29 patients were taking treatment for swine flu in various hospitals of the city. tnn
