Moore Avenue girl’s birthday in hospital

KOLKATA: The doctors and policemen celebrated the sixth birthday of the Moore Avenue girl, a victim of her parents’ alleged suicide pact, at MR Bangur Hospital on Wednesday.

The girl, along with her injured parents, had been brought to this hospital on September 29 with deep cuts on her throat. On Wenesday, she was showered with gifts from cops and doctors on her hospital bed on Wednesday.

Asenior officer said, “As we learnt that it was her birthday, we collected some gifts and tried to make the day special for her.”
