Attack only to cover-up his corruption, says AICC secretary

Objecting to the harsh and ‘abusive’ language used by caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrashkhar Rao against the Congress and the Grand Alliance at the Nizamabad meeting, AICC secretary and former Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud said that KCR’s frustration was evident and it indicates how scared he was to take on the Grand Alliance.

At a press conference here, Mr. Yashki asked why KCR was afraid of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and asked whether he objected to making a Dalit as the first Chief Minister of Telangana or advised against the distribution of three acres of land to Dalits. “Why did you keep quiet as a Chief Minister when the seven mandals of Khammam were transferred to AP?” he asked.

Diversion tactics

Mr. Yashki asked whether KCR’s Telangana self-respect was not hurt when he named his son after TDP founder, the late N.T. Rama Rao or when Andhra contractors were given all the work in TRS rule? Isn’t KTR doing real estate business with Andhra people in Bangalore, he asked.

He said the outburst of KCR against the Congress and Grand Alliance was part of his diversion tactics from his corruption but people will not fall in that trap. “You didn’t allow even a single Dalit to enter the Pragati Bhavan and you are talking about self respect of Telangana,” he charged.

The former MP advised Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao to speak in a language that behoves a Chief Minister and said if he crosses his line the Congress would hit back in the same language. “The language of ‘Gadis’ will not be tolerated by the people,” he said and wanted KCR to explain how he has earned thousands of crores after Telangana was formed.
