Lexus LC Limited Edition Adds A Splash Of Color To Luxury Coupe

Lexus unveiled this new LC Limited Edition model prior to the car’s public debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, saying that sales for it are to commence this fall and that buyers living in Europe will be able to choose between 500 and 500h versions.

The Paris car is a 500h, dressed in an exclusive Flare Yellow color and rocking a set of large 21-inch forged alloy wheels. Other features include CFRP inserts in the roof and an active rear spoiler.

Get your contrast on

There is a very clear theme to the cabin of the LC Limited Edition. There’s yellow leather on the door panels, mixing it up with the Alcantara trim (on the headliner), white leather seats and console inserts, plus loads of yellow contrast stitching. Lexus also used some carbon fiber, although not extensively.

The car’s interior also comes with 10-way power adjustable front seats (semi-aniline leather), a head-up display, Mark Levinson Reference premium audio system plus other goodies, at no extra cost – as it should be with special edition models.

As for performance, you’re looking at Dynamic Handling, Variable Gear Ratio Steering with four-wheel steering and a Torsen limited-slip differential, all standard.

Powering the LC 500 is a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine, putting down 474 PS (467 HP) and 527 Nm (389 lb-ft) of torque, whereas the LC 500h version gets you a 3.5-liter V6 hybrid setup, with a total system horsepower figure of 354 (359 PS).
