Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Decision has been taken to recruit medal winner player of international competition as sub inspector and medal winner player of authorised national level competition as constable in the Cabinet meeting, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today.
Olympic, World cup, World championship, Asian games, authorised Asian championship, commonwealth games and SAF games have been included in the list of authorised international competitions.
Approval to create 39 urban tehsils in 30 districts of state
The Cabinet approved creation of 39 urban tehsil in 30 districts. They have been included Malharganj, Khudail, Bhichaulihapsi, Rau, Kanadia in Indore, Gorakhpur, Adhartal, Ranjhi in Jabalpur, Tansen, Murar, City Center in Gwalior, Kothi Mahal, Ujjain city in Ujjain, Dewas city in Dewas, Raghurajnagr in Satna, Sagar Nagar in Sagar, Ratlam Nagar in Ratlam, Hujur city in Rewa, Singrauli Nagar in Singrauli, Burhanpur city in Burhanpur, Khandwa City of Khandwa, Morena City in Morena, Bhind city in Bhind, Guna Nagar in Guna, Bhind City in Bhind and Shivpuri City in Shivpuri, Chhindwara city in Chhindwara, Vidisha city in Vidisha, Chhatarpur city in Chhatarpur, Mandsaur city in Mandsaur, Damayanti Nagar in Damoh, Hoshangabad city in Hoshangabad, Neemuch city in Neemuch, Khargone city in Khargone, Sehore city in Sehore, Betul city in Betul, Seoni Nagar in Seoni, Datia city in Datia and Kolar in Bhopal.The functioning of them will start from January 01, 2019.
Irrigation projects
The Cabinet has granted financial revised sanction of Rs 3255.31 crore for Beena project of Sagar district. One time amount as part of special rehabilitation package at the rate of Rs ten lakh per hectare will be granted to farmers who are getting less than Rs ten lakh per hectare for land compensation including soletium for submerged area.
The Cabinet gave administrative sanction of Rs 110 crore 83 lakh for the total irrigated area of 3000 hectare of Sataldehi Irrigation Project.The Cabinet granted administrative sanction of Rs. 1375 crore 24 lakhs for the total irrigated area of Suthalia Irrigation Project for 40 thousand hectare.
The Cabinet gave administrative sanction to the total irrigated area of Bhanni Irrigation Project for 280 thousand 31 lakh rupees for 18 thousand 300 hectares.
Increase in honorarium of mid-day meals cook
The Cabinet has increased the present honorarium of cook of attached kitchens in mid day meal Scheme from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2000. This will benefit 2 lakh 23 thousand cooks.
Important decisions of Medical College
The Cabinet approved a grant of Rs 300 crores for the establishment of a new government medical college in Chhatarpur. Similarly, sanction of Rs. 300 crores has been given for establishment of new government medical college in Seoni.
The Cabinet approved the creation of three regular posts in the Government Medical College, Indore under the Human Organ Transplantation Act from the expenditure of state government.
The Cabinet gave the revised approval of Rs 202.40 crore for construction of building and campus, including a new hospital of 300 beds in Shivpuri Medical College.
The Cabinet sanctioned Rs 550 crore for setting up of new government medical college in Satna. The project will be implemented in two phases.The Cabinet decided to increase the monthly stipend of the doctors in the Government Medical Colleges.
“Madhya Pradesh Air Connectivity Policy- 2018” approved
The Cabinet approved the ‘Madhya Pradesh Air Connectivity Policy-2018’ under the Department of Aviation under which the state government proposes to increase the aviation services.
The objective of the new policy is to connect the state’s major tourism sites with other parts of the country and the world thus utilizing tourism sector to its full capacity. This will help increase trade and employment opportunities besides enhancing the export of agricultural products. Grants for different categories of air craft have also been fixed in the policy.
Tourism
The Cabinet approved the allotment of lands and buildings allotted to the Tourism department in exchange for appropriation in the share capital of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation. These include Hotel Bharhut, Satna and Hotel Payal, Khajuraho.
Purchase on Support Price
The Cabinet took the decision regarding purchase of Moong, Urad, Tuar, Groundnuts, Sesame and Ramil in Kharif year 2018 on Minimum Support Price in the Price Support Scheme of the Government of India. Purchase will be made from eligible farmers registered on e-procurement portal till the eligibility limits of production. The procurement of moong, urad, groundnut, sesame and Ramtil will be done from October 20, 2018 to January 19, 2019 and Tuar will be purchased from March 1 to May 30, 2019.
Horticulture College to be set up at Chhindwada
The Cabinet took the decision to set up a Horticulture College at Chhindwada district under Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur.
Proposals of various Nagar Palika Nigam and Nagar Parishad approved
The Cabinet decided to send the recommended proposal of constituting Nagar Palika Parishad Datia as Nagar Palika Nigam to the Governor for acceptance.
The Cabinet decided to present the proposal of granting Nagar Parishad status to Gram Panchayat Bercha, Shajapur district, Gram Panchayat Myana, Guna district and Gram Panchayat, Dalouda, Mandsaur district, to the Governor.
Bondage of poverty line ended in pension to disabled
The Cabinet decided to provide monthly pension to the non-income tax payers with the purpose of providing financial protection to them by ending the bondage of poverty line in the pension scheme for disabled under the Social Security Pension Scheme.
Hike in honorarium to guest faculty
The Cabinet decided to increase the honorarium of the guest teachers employed in government schools. These rates will be effective from August 1, 2018. According to the decision, guest teacher Category -1, guest teacher Category-2 and guest teacher Category-3 will be given Rs 90, Rs 75 and Rs 50 per period.
Similarly, minimum three periods per day and maximum monthly honorarium, which was Rs 4500 for Category 1 has been hiked to Rs 9000, Rs 3500 hiked to Rs 7000 for Class 2 and Rs 2500 has been hiked to Rs 5000 for Category-3.
Other Decisions
The Cabinet gave administrative approval to develop an international level golf course at Bhopal. The Cabinet approved the creation of departmental infrastructure of 152 new and 61 outsourced posts of Administrative,Laboratory and Secretarial levels under the Food and Medicine Administration. The Cabinet decided to include Gwal, Gwala castes in the list of Backward Classes in Schedule.
