MUMBAI: Water shortages continued to plague K West ward (including Juhu and Andheri west) for the eighth day. Residents of Juhu-Koliwada, at the end of the supply network, complained that they had to go without adequate supply and on some days no supply.
BMC had undertaken pipeline work in parts of the city on September 25-26. Larson Fernandes, a Juhu resident, said, "After work was completed last week, there was not a drop of water. The situation has not improved." Residents of Lokhandwala Complex and Four Bungalows also complained of shortages. A BMC official said the problem was being addressed.
