Walmart founder Sam Walton's 'Made in America' motivated Saurabh Garg to be an entrepreneur

When not crunching numbers, you will find Saurabh Garg thumbing through the pages of his favourite books. The Noboker.com co-founder, however, has one book that he reads over and over again – 'Made in America' by Walmart founder Sam Walton.

“The book is not just a great memoir on the historic development of retail business during the industrial revolution, but also something that motivated me to be an entrepreneur. It wraps up Sam Walton’s entire legacy into one priceless business capsule,” Garg tells ET Panache.

And while his mini library at home is stocked with the works of best-selling authors like Milan Kundera, Ruskin Bond and Paul Theroux, Garg says he keeps revisiting Walton’s words the most.

“The one thing that has stuck with me about the book is Walton’s quote – ‘Stealing ideas is better than copying ideas.’” Garg added.
