Shocker! Agitated Bangladeshi fans hack Virat Kohli’s website in protest against Liton Das’ wicket in Asia Cup final

Team India, led by stand-in captain Rohit Sharma, retained the Asia Cup trophy by beating Bangladesh in the final by 3 wickets. However, it was a controversial final with Liton Das‘ wicket remaining the most talked about. Das was closely stumped by MSD and when the matter went to 3rd umpire, he took too long to deliver decision, and finally gave the out decision. However, replays indicated the decision could have gone in the batsman’s favour. So now, talking revenge of the ‘false’ wicket and loss, Bangladeshi fans have hacked regular skipper Virat Kohli’s website.

On the website, fans have posted photos of Liton’s dismissal and a note asking explanation from ICC about how the dismissal was decided and also themed then that they will again hack the site if recovered. As per report in Dhaka Tribune, a group called Cyber Security and Intelligence (CSI) has hacked the site in protest against umpire’s decision. The hacker’s message on the website reads, “Dear ICC, Didn’t Cricket use to be a gentlemen’s game? Shouldn’t every team have fair rights? Please explain how it was out? If you don’t officially apologize to the whole world and take actions against the umpire then get ready to be hacked every single time you recover the site.”

The CSI also wrote that they didn’t mean to disrespect Indian team or fans and is only means for the injustice done to the Bangladeshi team. “And my fellow Indian brothers and sisters, we mean no disrespect to you guys. Please think about it. How would you feel if injustice was done with your team? Every single national team should be treated equally in the game,” the hackers further wrote.

Meanwhile, after the match, the fans even slammed the cricket body over Liton Das’ controversial wicket. Fans renamed ICC as Indian Cricket Council in a way to roast the world cricket body.
