Girl nearly falls off train in Mumbai, pulled back by some commuters
MUMBAI: Railway Protection Force (RPF) is making inquiries into a video clip that shows a young woman slipping out of a train and dangling briefly above the tracks, before being pulled back up by fellow commuters. She seems unhurt in the video clip.
It is not clear when the incident occurred or who shot the clip but officials presume it was on a Central Railway local as a passing train captured in the video has a CR logo painted on a coach.

The incident, which happened around 3 pm on Monday between Ghatkopar and Vikroli.

The clip started making the rounds of WhatsApp and soon went viral. A woman can be seen standing on the footboard of a running local with a pair of earphones plugged into her ears. Someone standing behind her seems to have shot the clip. She can be seen straightening her clothes a couple of times.

Pooja in hospital on Monday, was captured on video.

Just as a local passes by in the opposite direction, she bends out, loses her grip on the door handle and slips out. But fellow commuters can be seen holding on to her clothes even as she dangles above the tracks. Shocked and relieved at escaping death narrowly, she slumps to the floor of the coach.

"We are trying to find out where the video was shot, when and the girl's identity," said an RPF official.
