Kuwait calls reports of drop in oil exports to U.S. "inaccurate" CAIRO: Kuwait Petroleum Company said on Monday news reports of a drop in crude exports to the United States were "inaccurate and do not explain the implications of a reduction in the rate of exports between the two countries".

Bloomberg reported earlier that Kuwait had all but stopped shipping crude to the United States for the first time since the aftermath of Saddam Hussein's invasion in 1990.
