CROSS COUNTRY: Tiverton wins one, loses one

Will Gerlach took second place overall as Tiverton defeated East Providence (17-39) and lost to Mount Hope 21-37 in a boys' cross country triple dual meet on Monday at Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I.

Gerlach covered the 3.05 miles in 18:38. He was followed by teammates Will Brigham (6th, 19:37), Aidan Banal (7th, 19:41), Josh Dore (10th, 20:15) and Nate Neville (14th, 21:39).

Tiverton is 4-4.
