Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Bhopal Youth Marathon (Run) will be organized from 6:30 am to 8:00 am on 2nd October 2018 under the “Addiction Quit India Movement” on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by the All-India Gayatri Yuva Pariksh Bhopal. Marathon will be inaugurated from Board Office intersection,MP Nagar and reach Ankur Public School before returning to board office intersection.
K P Dubey, the national in-charge of the Youth Cell from Sathikunj Haridwar, said that the main purpose of the marathon race is to create a sensible, well-educated and empowered society with the awareness and propaganda in the masses, to resist any unrighteousness that hinders society. People have to be educated in this regard. The main reason of the evils in society is the lack of action and inaction of the more educated, well-educated and eminent people.
Amar Thakad of the Prantiya Yuva Sanyojan Samiti has called upon all the thinking youth to be part of this campaign. He has also urged the youth to take the vow of sacrificing all kinds of intoxication and make others participate in this resolution. He also appealed the youth to put pressure on the government for the widespread campaign to end drug addiction.
In the marathon (run), registration of the city’s youth, social workers, and students is being made free of cost. The first winner will get 2100 rupees, Rs.1500 and Rs. 1000 will go to the second and third winners respectively.
