Four members of a family, including a six-year old girl, were killed Monday when the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Madathukulam in nearby Tirupur district, police said.
They said the family were on their way to Palani from Pollachi, about 35 km from here, when the mishap occurred.
The car collided with the lorry on the National Highway, killing all the four on the spot, police said.
