FOXBORO – The Patriots don’t have to worry about Rob Gronkowski.

The tight end left Sunday’s game due to an ankle injury, but it is not considered serious, according to ESPN. Gronkowski is expected to be questionable for Thursday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Gronk’s been dealing with an ankle injury over the past two weeks. Last week, he was limited, but didn’t miss any of the three sessions. On Sunday, he caught four passes for 44 yards, but left the game in the middle of the third quarter. A team trainer could be seen working on the back of Gronk’s right leg. Eventually, he left for the locker room and didn’t return.

With a short week, it’ll be interesting to see if Gronkowski is at the Patriots lone practice on Tuesday. Of course, if he was just removed from the game for precautionary reasons, maybe he’ll be out there to test the ankle out.
