Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah will address his second public meeting in Telangana at Karimnagar on October 10. Later, Mr. Shah will address a youth rally in Hyderabad on the second day of the two-day National Yuva Morcha meeting to be held in Hyderabad on October 27 and 28, said president of the party’s Telangana unit K. Laxman.

Addressing a press conference after the manifesto committee meeting on Monday, Mr. Laxman said the National Yuva Morcha meeting was being held here after many years and it would provide an opportunity for the State unit to showcase its organisational strength. It would also provide an opportunity to the party to attract youth in the light of the various schemes taken up by the Narendra Modi Government.

Manifesto

The state unit was ready to face elections whenever the schedule was announced by the Election Commission, he said, adding that the cadre and leaders were all geared up after the party president had officially kicked off the campaign from his public meeting held in Mahabubnagar last month. The manifesto would reflect the BJP’s aim to make citizens part of the development process and chart a course for the next two decades. He announced that N.V.S.S. Prabhakar would be chairman and Malla Reddy convenor of the committee formed to draft it.
