Nagpur: All
wildlife parks and
tiger reserves including Pench, Melghat, Tadoba-Andhari, Navegaon-Nagzira, Bor and Umred-Karhandla will open to the public after a three month monsoon break from Monday.
“As usual, online bookings for
TATR are full but canters will be available from Kolara, Mohurli and Navegaon gates. Canters can be booked offline by calling the Tadoba office at Chandrapur,” said TATR field director NR Praveen.
Pench field director RS Govekar said following the bad condition of roads due to recent rains, bookings will be available offline till October 15, after which online bookings will be made available for 50% of seats.
“From November 1, all bookings will be done online. Beginning January 1, 2019 there may be drastic changes in the carrying capacity, routes, VIP quota as the decision in this regard will be taken by the newly-constituted local advisory committee (LAC) of Bor and Pench,” added Govekar.
Meanwhile, day and night safari in
Gorewada reserve forest will start from October 15 as the roads are yet to be developed.
