Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Oncology and Research (SRIOR), the oncology unit of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital Coimbatore, introduced animated videos on breast cancer awareness as part of observing Breast Cancer Awareness month which started on Monday.

As part of observing Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SRIOR has arranged for the distribution of educative pamphlets on breast cancer through the NSS volunteers in the Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Dindigul and Karur districts. It will also offer free mammogram for women aged above 35 on all working days throughout the month of October.
