Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists attack police station in Shopian, cop martyred

A policeman succumbed to injury in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district Sunday, reports ANI. In the wee hours of Sunday, group of terrorists opened indicriminate fire on a police station in Shopian. Police constable Saqib Mir was critically injured and he was rushed to the hospital. However, he couldn't be saved by the doctors. 

According to reports, terrorists opened fire from multiple directions, thus making it difficult for cops. The terrorists also attacked with grenades targetting the security men. They have fled with service rifles. Currently cordon and search operation is underway.
