Two-handicapper Ninad opened with a par before two bogeys early on interspersed with a par on Hole No 3 pulled him down. Ninad, however, recovered himself towards the end of outward stretch by firing back-to-back birdies — on the Hole No 7 and No 8 to close at par 35.
