Man kills tea seller for insulting him in front of his friends

KANPUR: A man was arrested, on Saturday, for murdering an elderly man and robbing his house in Kakadeo area of the city.
As per reports, the accused Karan Jaiswal had murdered 70-year-old Adarsh Kumar, a tea-seller by profession, at his shop on July 25, 2018. SP (West), Sanjeev Suman, said, "Adarsh Kumar's (70) body was found at his shop on July 26, 2018 morning."

During interrogation, Jaiswal, a resident of Raniganj area of Kakadeo, told the police that he had killed Kumar after he had scolded him in front of his friends, when the accused had gone to the latter's shop to buy paan masala.

"Jaiswal didn't say anything then, but returned later to attack Adarsh, who was sleeping outside his tea shop. He then escaped with Rs 33,000," said station house officer of Kalyanpur police station Satish Kumar Singh.
