Rajkot: Many roads in Rajkot will remain closed for traffic on account of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city on Sunday.
The roads from civil hospital gate to Chaudhary High School, where PM’s public meeting has been organized will remain closed for general traffic from 12 noon till 9pm. The traffic department issued diversion notices on many routes.
GSRTC buses coming from Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Morbi and Kutch will run on diverted routes. Some of pick-up points for these buses will remain closed. The city administration has also cancelled certain city bus routes. The Race Course Ring Road, Dharam Cinema Road and Civil Hospital to Trikonbaug Road will remain closed for general traffic for few hours.
