Even after two days the Delhi police have not been able to nab the three accused in connection with the building collapse in which seven people including four kids died. The condition of the other five who were injured are said to be stable.

According to the police, after the mishap, they had booked three people in connection with the case identified as Dharmendra Gujjar owner of the building, his business partner Sachin and Gujjar' father Roshan Lal.

"Since the incident the three accused are on a run and we have formed several teams to nab them. They have been booked under sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal code," said Aslam Khan, Deputy Commissioner of police (North- West).

Sources in the police said that they have come to know that Gujjar owned a lot of building in the area while force has been deployed outside their houses.

"We have questioned the family members of the accused however even they also have no clue about them. We are trying to identify their relatives and trying to find out their hideouts for which we have placed extra policemen in the area who are keeping an eye on the relatives," said a senior police officer.

On Wednesday morning, seven people died while five others were injured after a four-storey building collapsed in Delhi's Ashok Vihar on Wednesday around 9.15 am. The victims include a man, two woman and four children. The police control room received a call at around 9:22 am. Two teams of the NDRF, six fire tenders were rushed to the spot and conducted rescue operation along with locals.

According to the police, the deceased were identified as Seema (24), her children Ashi (three) and Shaurya (two), her brother-in-law Laxman (25), brothers Rajnesh (four) and Sumnesh (12) and Munni Devi (35).

"The injured five persons were identified as Nisha, Munni Devi's husband Raj Bahadur and their guests Kamla Shankar and Vijay, Seema's sister Manju are undergoing treatment and their condition is stated to be stable," said a senior police officer.
