‘Class Teacher’, written by author and lecturer Kaleemullah, has been chosen for the Muslim Sahitya Prashasti being offered by Karnataka Muslim Lekhakara Sangha for 2016.
Being given for the best work in Kannada from Muslim writers, the award carrying a purse of ₹10,000 and a citation would be presented to Mr. Kaleemullah in Bengaluru on October 21, said sangha president U.H. Ummar in a release here.
Mr. Kaleemullah, a rank holder and gold medallist in M.A. Kannada, has obtained M. Phil as well as doctor of philosophy from Kuvempu University.
