Vivek Agnihotri told me to remove my clothes and dance, Irrfan Khan, Suniel Shetty rescued me: Tanushree Dutta

Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta is currently making headlines for her sexual harassment allegations against actor Nana Patekar. In an interview with Zoom TV, the ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ actress revealed the bitter truth behind this glamourous face of the industry. However, now the actress has revealed her unpleasant experience with filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri.

Apparently, Tanushree Dutta has worked in Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial venture Chocolate (2005) with actors like Suniel Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Emraan Hashmi. In an interview with DNA, Tanushree claimed that she was not required in the scene but Vivek Agnihotri told her “Kapde utaar ke naach uske saamne’ (Remove your clothes and dance in front of him)”. She further added by saying that her co-star Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty, who were both present on the sets immediately came to her rescue. Irrfan Khan told the director that he knows how to act and does not need cues. Suniel Shetty offered to help Irrfan and told the director, “Main udhar aake dun tujhe cues? (Should I come there and give you some cues?)”

Tanushree said that she could continue working in Bollywood with actors like Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan who actually supported her. But sadly, Tanushree decided to quit Bollywood in 2008 after the incident with Nana Patekar took place on the sets of ‘Horn OK Pleasss’.

For those who don’t know, Tanushree has alleged that Nana Patekar intimidated her while shooting a song. She added that he called goons on the sets who then vandalized her car. So far Tanushree’s claims have gone viral and Bollywood celebs like Swara Bhasker, Richa Chadha and Farhan Akhtar have supported her on social media.

On the other hand celebs like Rakesh Sarang, Ganesh Acharya and Rimi Sen have so far given their support to Nana Patekar. However, Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan have refused to talk on this issue.
