A dentist has accused her patient of threatening her with a knife and stealing her mobile phone worth Rs 30,000. The dentist, Drashti Bhatt, 29, said Narendra Thakore had come to her clinic on Thursday to get treated for a dental problem.

Once he was treated, he waited outside in the reception area and also paid the fee. But all of a sudden Thakore brandished a knife and placed it on her throat, threatening to kill her. He then grabbed her phone and ran away. Bhatt who has been operating a clinic in Satellite area for the last six years said that she had known Thakore after she treated his mother Kamlaben for a dental problem.

Kamlaben had been a patient of the doctor some days ago and she had to take continuous treatment. Her treatment was a success and she had even paid for the treatment. Bhatt said that Thakore used to accompany his mother for all the treatments. Cops said that the clinic was deserted when the incident happened.
