Converging Customer Experience and Security

Janrain Customer Day 2018 will bring together an elite roster of identity leaders with Forrester’s keynote on convergence of experience and security

Janrain, the company that pioneered Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM), will host Forrester senior analyst, security & risk, Enza Iannopollo at this years’ Janrain Customer Day who will address the need for brands to exceed security and privacy expectations of their customers.

Enza’s keynote will cover the ‘Convergence of Customer Experience and Security’ and look at the shift in mindset needed for companies to be more proactive rather than reactive.

In light of the Facebook/Cambridge Analytica scandal, a survey looking into public opinion during the aftermath found more than half (57 percent) of respondents were more concerned about their data privacy and security, plus generally less willing to provide organisations with personal data, highlighting the importance of customer trust. And, with GDPR now enforced, getting data protection right has never been as critical as it is today.

Coinciding with the European Cyber Security Awareness month, the customer day will also bring together senior representatives from some of Janrain’s multinational clients such as Shell, Everything Everywhere and Channel 4 as they discuss how to manage security and privacy risks to protect data and build trust-worthy customer engagement.

“This year’s Janrain Customer Day is set to be one of the most interesting yet in the aftermath of the Facebook/Cambridge Analyitica fall out and the early days of GDPR,” comments, Jim Kaskade, CEO of Janrain. “We’re dedicated to helping our clients drive a seamless and secure  digital experience for their customers. The keynote from Forrester and panel sessions during the day will arm attendees with knowledge based on actual client experiences - knowledge that everyone needs to become confident ‘Customer Data Guardians’.”
