On cam: Family finds cobra in chullah, reptile rescued by volunteers

A family in Pipili of Puri district spotted a fully grown cobra hiding inside the earthen chullah in their home. The family spotted the cobra when they were preparing to light the chullah for cooking their evening meal. They called Snake helpline volunteers who arrived at their house and rescued the venomous reptile safely. The cobra was then released in its natural habitat far away from any human settlement.
