Former Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Iliyas Hussain was on Thursday sentenced to four years in jail and slapped a fine of ₹2 lakh in the 26-year-old bitumen scam involving defalcation of ₹18.75 lakh.
Hussain, Minister of Road Construction in the RJD regime, is considered close to party chief Lalu Prasad.
