Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, In a meeting held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Cabinet today granted approval to extend the Bhopal and Indore Metro Rail Projects. Approval was also granted to a bank loan of 500m euro from the European Investment Bank for the Bhopal Metro Rail Project.
The Cabinet took decision regarding 129 posts for the Project Management Unit and 274 posts of Project Implementation Units. It granted approval of creation of two posts separately of Additional Managing Director for Bhopal and Indore. MPMRCL will have the authority of filling the vacancies, recruitment process, honorarium and of determining the requirement of qualification and experience.
The Cabinet decided to start the Mukhya Mantri Avivahita Pension Yojana through the Department of Social Justice and Disaster Welfare. In this, a pension amount of Rs. 300 / – per month will be given to unmarried eligible women in the 50-79 age group and Rs 500 to the eligible women of 80 years or more.
CPS Diploma Course in hospitals
The Cabinet granted approval for a CPS Diploma course in hospitals of the state. Permission was granted to begin C.P.S Diploma course in Gynaecology (D.G.O.), Pediatrics (D.C.H.), Anaesthesiology (D.A.), General Medicine (D.G.M.), Psychological Medicine (D.P.M.), Pathology and Bacteriology (D.P.B.), General Surgery (D.G.M.), Medical Radiology and Electrology (D.M.R.I.) and Emergency Medicine (D.E.M.E.). in the state’s hospitals.
The Cabinet took the decision to consider C.P.S. Diploma equivalent to P.G.Diploma and to ensure eligibility to all the benefits to Medical Officers pursuing the diploma course and to validate the C.P.S. Diploma for promotion to the posts of Specialists.
Selection of students of all sections for UPSC exam preparation
The Cabinet decided to provide free coaching to outstanding graduate and qualified students to prepare for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination in Delhi under the Higher Education Department’s new scheme.
Under this scheme, meritorious students who cannot get coaching at their own expense are selected. Under this scheme 100 students from various sections of the society will be selected in accordance with the set standards and will be sent to coaching institutes of Delhi for UPSC exam preparation.
Six new municipal councils and one tehsil to be made
The Cabinet approved constitution of gram panchayat Sirali, Harda district and gram panchayat Malanpur, Bhind district as municipal councils and forward the proposal to the Governor.
Similarly, the Cabinet approved the formation of Ghoradongri Municipal Council, Betul district, Shahpur Municipal Council, Betul district, Surkhi district Municipal Council, Sagar district and Niwali Bijurg Municipal Council, Barwani district and forwards the proposal to the Governor.The Cabinet also approved creation of Makdoun tehsil, Ujjain district and create necessary posts for the new tehsil.
Rs 411 crore for new District Court building Indore
The Cabinet granted approval of Rs 411 crore for the construction of new District Court building Indore (Pipalyahana). Moreover, the cabinet has taken a decision to transfer a total of 16.413 hectare land selected for MOG line to Urban Development and Housing Department for redevelopment under the Smart City Project in Indore Municipal Corporation area.
The cabinet granted approval for upgradation of 180 posts into pramukh mukhya prahri out of 905 posts of mukhya prahri – pay grade of Rs. 5200-20200+2800 into new grade pay 28700-91300 in the Jail Department.
The cabinet has decided to approve the grade pay. 2200-4000 in place of 2000-3500 of the Statistical Officer of the Animal Husbandry Department.
The cabinet has given approval for the project costing Rs. 49 crore 10 lakh 84 thousand in principle to make arrangement of separate room and toilet for women police personnel and women complainants in 676 police stations of the state.
Under the Cooperative Department, the cabinet has given approval for continuation of 3 new proposed projects Datia, Dindori and Damoh for integrated cooperative development project under the total expenditure limit of Rs. 163 crore and balance amount of 14 integrated cooperative development projects being run presently till 2019-20.
