Three families claimed on Tuesday the bodies of three of the five militants killed by security forces in in

Two families from Shopian and Kulgam districts on Tuesday reached in north and said the two militants slain on September 21 and 22 were from their families.

Another family from Kangan in district claimed the body of a third militant.

The families have been asked to approach the of district as all the five militants were buried there.

The five were killed by the security forces in Sumlar area of district. While two were killed on September 21, three others were killed the next day.

In a statement to a local news agency, the Hizbul Mujahideen said the five militants were its members and identified them as Hyder Ali of Kulgam, of Shopian, of Bandipora, Mawiya of Kangan and Usman of Kupwara.

Security forces had claimed that all the five belonged to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit.
